Our decision
Choose Trinity if the manuscript and present-day Old Library experience are the reason to go. Choose Guinness if a self-guided brewing-brand experience and Gravity Bar finish are the point. Neither is a substitute for the other’s subject.
What each ticket includes
The full Trinity Experience includes Old Library and Red Pavilion, while the shorter ticket excludes the latter. Most Long Room shelves are emptied for redevelopment work. The standard Guinness product is self-guided across seven floors, with Gravity Bar and Guinness or Guinness 0.0; extras have separate inclusions.
Fit it into a short stay
Keep the chosen visit as the half-day anchor. If you have two full days, separating central and western chapters can make room for both. A one-day route should lose the museum block before it gains a second ticketed experience.
